Seeing Through is dedicated to providing our PNW adult ballet dancer community with different ways to engage with ballet outside of just taking classes. Our goal is to bring ballet into more modern contexts helping to inspire more people to experience ballet.
Seeing Through Ballet Co seeks to create opportunities for our community to engage with our passion for ballet, both as dancers and audience members. We want to break down the barriers that have traditionally kept ballet in the confines of concert halls, and make it a living breathing part of the community. We aspire to express the beauty of ballet through dancers of all levels of technique who embody a love for the art, and to inspire a new generation of ballet enthusiasts by bringing ballet closer to them through modern platforms and contexts.
We know that many people have had negative experiences in the past with traditional ballet norms, and we are committed to a positive and inclusive environment that focuses on expression over technical perfection. Everyone should be able to be a ballet dancer regardless of body type, gender, race, age, or ability.
The best way to see upcoming STBC opportunities and instructions on how to register is by following us on social media, we are @seeingthrough.balletco on Instagram.
